I still have this belief that two of my friends and I have our own mini book club. We share and give each other books, shop for books together, talk about books, e-mail about books, blog about books, recommend books, and tell each other how bad we feel whenever we’re not reading books or whenever we can’t find time to read books or whenever we’re beginning to become such slow readers. We also always update each other on what we’re reading now.
Earlier today, one of the members of this pretend book club and I met near her workplace, and after talking about — you guessed it — books (and other non-book stuff), she gave me a private tour of her office (which is just one very short ride away from where I live!). But then we had to say goodbye quickly because she’s got an interview. Take note, she’s the interviewer, not the interviewee! Her blog is one of the very few I love reading and have read entirely.
Anyway, here’s what we’re reading now.
The Zahir by Paulo Coelho — The Book She’s Currently Reading
The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd — The Book She’s Currently Reading but Having a Hard Time Finishing and Couldn’t Understand Why
They Do It with Mirrors (Miss Marple #6) by Agatha Christie — The Book I’m Currently Reading
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott — The Book I’m Currently Reading but Having a Hard Time Finishing Because It’s Too Long
Expect to read about these books on our blogs soon! I hope.
